A Deathless Contest!
Dec 13th
Deathless is now available as an ebook, and while you could buy a copy, wouldn’t you rather be one of the three lucky people who will win a copy? Of course you do! Here’s how you can do it:
Retweet the announcement on Twitter! That gets you a chance in the drawing!
Do a review of one of my stories! There just so happens to be a story for free on Smashwords.com right now (coupon code is BD98W)! That gets you another chance to win.
The final way to win is just post a comment here saying exactly: I want to win Deathless!
Three chances to win, but only three will win a copy! I’ll do the drawing this Friday!
An Update!
Nov 11th
Working for a warehouse again. It’s a temp job, but I’m enjoying it a lot more than the last temp job, so maybe this’ll be a permanent thing.
I essentially sort media for shipping. Books, DVDs, CDs, it’s all good. And easy once you know what you’re doing.
In other news, I’m over 18,000 words on the novella. Progress can be slow going, but some progress is better than no progress.
State of the Me
Nov 2nd
So an election happened. I hear these Republicans control something. So in other words, people ain’t happy.
Anyway, life goes on. I’m going to be on a new temp assignment next week. Should last a couple of months. Been writing the novella again after two weeks of nada. That’s good! I’m halfway done with the first draft, which is even better.
How’s life with you all?
The Status of the Geekboy
Oct 25th
Taking a break from the jobsearching to update this here little journal. How might all you be doing? I’m currently between temp jobs, so life is a bit hectic. I like having money, you know…
Writing Progress
Aug 27th
After five days I’m 5,841 words into my new novella. An average of 1,168 words, give or take a decimal.
Holy crap.
Last week I was lucky to get in five hundred words a day. I think I caught on to a nice formula of writing. Here’s hoping I can do just as well next week.
Writing Progress: FINISHED!
Aug 19th
The short story I was working on, The Species of Rivals, is now complete at 10,028 words. Which was 28 words over my goal.
Not too bad. Now to get it edited, then I can do the second draft.
For Those Going to SDCC…
Jul 19th
SDCC being the San Diego Comic Con, mind you!
Sofawolf Press will be at ComicCon, their booth # is 1236. They will have Dungeons & Denizens volumes 1 and 2 and the first Carpe Diem trade paperback.
The convention starts Thursday July 22nd. If you’re going be sure to stop by and purchase a few copies of my books. If they sell well, you bet they’ll start carrying them to all the conventions they attend.
